whynot complies with and implements all necessary policies and appropriate technical measures to ensure the proper protection of its customers’/users’ personal data in accordance with the new General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (“GDPR”).

When visiting the whynot website, the visitor’s Internet Protocol (IP) address is automatically collected for transaction security purposes and for gathering statistical data to improve customer service. For simple browsing of this website, whynot does not collect any other personal data.

whynot uses cookies to ensure the smooth operation of the website. Cookies collect information about website visitors to improve the provided services, facilitate seamless page transitions, and for statistical purposes.

whynot collects and stores customers’/users’ personal data upon their registration for its services. The collected and stored personal data (name, address, phone number, email) are necessary and essential for the provision of the agreed-upon services and are not subject to further processing.

The storage of customers’/users’ personal data is carried out on a dedicated server. Personal data will remain stored for up to two years after the closure of the customers’/users’ accounts to facilitate their future reuse of whynot’s services. If a customer/user does not wish for their data to be stored after account closure, they have the right to revoke their consent or request deletion of their data.

Access to personal data is exclusively granted to whynot and its authorized employees (support operators), who are trained to adhere to confidentiality regulations.
Customers/users have the right to access, modify, or delete their personal data.

The personal data collected and stored by whynot is confidential and will not, under any circumstances, be disclosed, transferred, or exploited by whynot.
whynot has implemented appropriate measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of customers’/users’ personal data (e.g., password encryption, two-factor authentication, updated devices, antivirus software, etc.). The data centers used by whynot are certified with the International Standard ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System Standard), ensuring the necessary protection of data at the server level while also meeting software-level security requirements for access protection.

whynot uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) security protocol at the company-validated certification level to ensure the highest possible security during the transmission of customers’/users’ personal data. The SSL protocol encrypts all information sent to the server during the registration process, thereby protecting personal data during transmission.

whynot does not collect or store banking data during customers’/users’ transactions using a card. Transactions are completed within the environment of the partnered bank.
whynot does not collect or store customers’/users’ personal data during transactions via PayPal.

Contract Terms

whynot reserves the right to modify or update the terms and conditions of transactions whenever deemed necessary and undertakes the responsibility to inform subscribers of any changes through its websites.

Limitation of Liability

whynot bears no responsibility towards customers/users for any damages that may arise from the execution or non-execution of their order. Additionally, it reserves the right regarding the delivery time of products/services in cases of force majeure.

Service Ownership Issues

The use of whynot’s services and products for profiteering, blackmail, unauthorized resale, or any malicious activity is strictly prohibited. whynot reserves the right to deactivate services if such issues arise until the matter is legally investigated.

User Responsibility

Users agree not to use whynot’s services for:

  • Sending, publishing, emailing, or transmitting any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, offensive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or expresses racial, ethnic, or other forms of discrimination.

  • Harming minors in any way.

  • Hosting adult content – pornography, gambling, or anything else that violates Greek law.

  • Sending unsolicited bulk emails for advertising purposes without the recipient’s consent.

  • Sending, publishing, emailing, or transmitting any content they do not have the right to transmit under applicable laws or contractual relationships (e.g., internal information, proprietary and confidential information acquired through employment or covered under confidentiality agreements).

  • Sending, publishing, emailing, or transmitting any content that violates patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, or other proprietary rights of third parties.

  • Sending, publishing, emailing, or transmitting any material containing software viruses or any other code, files, or programs designed to disrupt, damage, destroy, or interfere with the operation of any software or hardware.

  • Willfully or unintentionally violating applicable laws or regulations.

  • Harassing third parties in any manner.

  • Collecting or storing personal data of other users.

  • Posting on forums links to content that they do not have the right to transmit under applicable laws or contractual relationships.
