Whynot Legacy – Katakolo 2026 Announcement

We are delighted to announce the new annual Triathlon / Multisport Event in Katakolo, an initiative born out of love for the region, with the goal of evolving into a landmark event with strong sporting, tourism, and cultural impact.

The concept, inspiration, and development of the event belong to Dionysios Andriolatos, Founder of DEKALBO MEDIA SERVICES, a native of Katakolo and triathlon athlete. His vision is to create a true event experience: a high-level race within a festival format, featuring parallel activities and cultural/artistic elements for athletes, companions, and visitors.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Pyrgos and the Region of Western Greece, with the support of the “OLYMPIADA” Association.

The race is part of the WTL (Whynot Triathlon League) championship.

Under the auspices of

  • Region of Peloponnese
  • Ministry of Culture
  • Ministry of Tourism
