The first meeting between the Organizing Committee of Epidavros Triathlon and the research team of the University that has undertaken the internationalization project of Epidavros Triathlon was held at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Graduate students of the Applied Sciences Department under the supervision of their professor Dr. Sebastian Kaiser-Jovy developed the ways in which they plan to take action in the next three years of 2019-2021 in order to make Epidavros Triathlon an important sport – touristic event that will surpass the Greek border attracting a significant number of foreign athletes and visitors to the Epidaurus region.

After the main presentation, an extensive discussion took place.  The next meeting was scheduled to take place in ​​Epidavros on 27/6/2018. The workshop of June 2018 will analyze the actions that will have been completed and the second phase of the project will be presented, which will be the subject of a doctoral dissertation by students from Heilbronn University.

The meeting honored with the presence of the Dean of Heilbronn University Dr. Thomas Bezold, while the Municipality of Epidaurus was represented by Mr. Ioannis Xpolias and Anastasios Smyrlis. On behalf of the organizing company (whynot) of Epidavros Triathlon the owner Mr. Panos Rotas was presented.
